<strong>Saturday May 8th</strong> beginning at 3:00pm<br />

<p>Below are some suggested pairings and ingredients that go well with some of the styles of beer that will be at the potluck.</p>
<p>*Update &#8211; the <em>Lawnmower Brew</em> will not be coming to the party so hopefully no one has planned any dishes to go with that one!  If so we&#8217;ll figure out what else to match them up with.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Belgian Wit</strong></p>
<p>Salad with vinaigrette, egg dishes, Croque Monsieur, lobster, shrimp, crab, sushi, sashimi, smoked salmon, fish prepared with citrus, cochinito pibil, chicken or pork with brightly flavored preparations (lemon/lime/orange).</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Saison</strong></p>
<p>Rib-eye steak, salmon, shrimp salad, meaty fish, crab cakes, pork sausage, pork chops, Thai food (crispy duck in red coconut curry sauce, chicken Massamun curry, tom yung gai, beef satay, pad thai,&#8230;), Vietnamese food.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Steam Beer</strong></p>
<p>The brewer is vegan, so vegan options are encouraged. char-fried seitan, burritos, spicy foods, cumin, lime, cilantro, shrimp quesadillas.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Dubbel</strong></p>
<p>Gamy red meats, lamb, duck, foi gras, sweetbreads, beef stew, sausage (venison, wild boar, lamb), roasted pork dishes, roast chicken with stuffing.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>IPA</strong></p>
<p>The brewer is vegetarian, so veggie pairings are encouraged. Spicy foods, Indian cuisine, jerk or Cajun spicing, black eyed peas, strong and sharp cheeses, bold Mexican dishes, fried tofu with rich dipping sauces, rich and creamy curries, prime rib. Brewer plans on bringing spicy Thai peanut pasta.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Black IPA</strong></p>
<p>Roasty Indian cuisine, jerk or Cajun spicing, roasty Mexican dishes, spicy BBQ.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Smoked Porter</strong></p>
<p>Pork, barbecue, bacon, braised pork belly, steak, sausages, smoked salmon, smoky Mexican food.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Maple Stout</strong></p>
<p>Porterhouse, strip, or shell steak, barbecue, ham, pastrami, black beans, refried beans, black eyed peas, jambalaya, dirty rice, mole negro, grilled or stir-fried shrimp, chocolate anything, fruit tart, vanilla ice cream.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Imperial/Double Red Ale</strong></p>
<p>Pork, fruit, strong cheeses.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Honey Heather Ale</strong></p>
<p>Pork in almost any form, ripe cheeses and stone fruits, soda bread, whatever you would eat on a foggy day in the English moors, honey. </p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
<strong>Ginger Beer</strong></p>
<p>Quesadillas, chips, grilled cheese, grilled and fried foods, spicy foods, beans, creamy sauces, fatty meat.</p>
